Because we are licensed with the building department, you can be sure it will be done in compliance with the building code. Additionally, J and J construction Inc. is fully insured.
- We provide you with a list of all subcontractors needed for the entire basement.
They are the same subcontractors we have been building relationships with for years, so you can be sure you will get the highest quality available. These subcontractors have agreed to work with our customers on BUILD YOUR OWN BASEMENT, contingent that all layout and framing will be performed by J and J Construction.
- We provide you with a schedule so you know when each task is performed.
- You are in charge and either sub contract the work out or do it yourself.
- We have access to wholesale pricing on tile, carpet, vinyl and hardwood. By working with us you save 40 percent off retail.
Most contractors charge between 15 and 30 percent mark up. But with our program, you can get the results of a beautiful custom basement at a fraction of the cost.
Being your own general contractor for your basement can be fun and very rewarding. And if it ever seems like to much for you, we can handle as much of the job as you would like us to.
PRICE LIST
- Standard build your own basement:
Plans, consultation, framing material and labor
$5.50 per square foot for 8'0 ceilings
$6.50 per square foot for 9'0 ceilings
This price includes one arch and open stairway.
Built in entertainment centers and wet bar framing are additional.
All prices are contingent on a site analysis.
