You have already begun the process of building your new deck by visiting a licensed contractor. We will give you a free on site analysis of your deck project.decks on j and j construction

When we visit your home we will discuss building permits and zoning requirements. We will also discuss the different material types as well.

We combine your ideas with our expertise and design a deck that is functional for your needs. Finally we take budget into consideration as we are working up your proposal.

We are also flexible when it comes to letting you participate in the project if you want to save cost. Let us visit your project and give you a free estimate today.

J & J Construction, Inc has a class C building license with the Pikes Peak Building Department.
We will provide an onsite visit and a written estimate at no charge. (There will be charges for drawings and plans as noted below.)
J and J Construction, Inc will never perform any work without a building permit on work required.
Most decks require City Zoning approval. This must be done before a permit can be obtained.
Material types for decks consist of:
  • Floor Joists-- treated lumber or non treated.
  • Flooring-- Composite or Redwood
  • Railing-- Wood, or Metal
We do not recommend using composite railing due to sturdiness and cost. We will install any rail system at customer request.
We specialize in deck design and 3D drafting. All designs are done in-house by the owner, Jeremy. There are additional charges for drawings.
We accept all major credit cards to help finance your project.
We are one of the only deck contractors in Colorado Springs that will let you participate in removal, and installation to save costs. Certain restrictions do apply.
